Celebrating 13 Years and Where the name of the Blog Came From

Reader, I know you have been sitting on the edge of your seat waiting…and waiting. Wondering.

Why is this blog of awesomeness called “Echoes and Stars”?

Well today, your dreams come true. For all 11 of you. Today, to celebrate the greatest (yet least understandable) decision my wife ever made – marrying me 13 years ago, here is your answer.

Congratulations on another year of deceiving Bethany, or maybe it's just the comfort of familiarity for her now. For Susan, my friend and companion of 14 years in April, I think it is an effort to show the apostle Paul that she is running the race with all she has. We too have a "Ruby Tuesday" memory, except that ours is "Applebee's". Our first meal as husband and wife was at the applebee's in Newnan, GA and it might have been the worst food we've ever had. It didn't matter though, she was there and the world wasn't. I can't pass one without getting a slight taste of the perfectness of that momentI absolutely loved this post, your writing can often be a thing of beauty and this one is a perfect example of your skills. Thanks for all the pictures you so eloquently paint with your keyboardHank
